What is the difference between waterproof, water resistant, and water repellent?
Waterproof is the ultimate protection. On's 3-layer waterproof membrane keeps water out while still letting air flow.
When lighter protection is all you need, we recommend water-resistant items.
"Water repellent" means the fabric has a DWR finish on the surface that repels rainwater. Smart and durable, it prevents rain from soaking into your garment.
