Sole
The midsole is a CloudTec®️ structure using HelionTM super foam. By combining two layers, you can feel the impact of landing on the ground echoing back from each mechanism. In addition, the cushioning is easy to feel in the forefoot and the landing is flat, so the sweet spot is felt widely from the midfoot to the forefoot. Fujiwara says, "Compared to other companies' carbon shoes, it doesn't feel like a high-bound sole, but among On shoes, it's a shoe that you can feel the bounce and propulsion very much."
plate
On shoes are equipped with a plate called Speedboard®️, which contains carbon fiber. The toe is raised up, so the shoes are especially beneficial for the forefoot when kicking off.
upper
The engineered mesh upper, made from 100% recycled polyester, is very thin but has pinpoint reinforcement parts, giving it a minimalist feel (minimalism) that has been stripped away for racing. Compared to the streamlined Cloudboom last (foot shape) of the previous model, this model is roomier, so if you felt the previous model was too cramped, this is a shoe you should definitely try.
