The next generation of adhesive bandage, the "Adhesive Elastic Bandage," was completed in 1974 and released as "New Hale AKT" in 1975. It is recognized as the origin of today's "elastic taping tape (kinesiology tape)" and has been used in medical settings for approximately 50 years now, earning trust for its quality, which makes it difficult to peel off and does not cause rashes.

In 2004, we launched the low-stretch "New Hare SK" as a high-performance fastening tape. Utilizing the two types of stretch rate of New Hare AKT and SK, we developed the "Ready-to-Apply Series" that is pre-cut into unique, simple shapes. In 2006, we entered the sports market, and are evolving every day with the development of new products and new application methods based on feedback from numerous athletes.

Gentle on the skin and does not easily peel off

We have developed an acrylic resin adhesive with a low irritation that is gentle on the skin, in cooperation with a major domestic manufacturer, and we use an adhesive that is elastic, resistant to rashes, and difficult to peel off. In addition, the dyeing is done by a dyeing manufacturer that processes apparel fabrics, and the quality is such that the color will not transfer to clothing even if it gets wet with sweat or water.
All processes, including weaving, manufacturing, dyeing, and cutting, are carried out in Japan, and thanks to their excellent materials and quality, they have been used in medical settings for many years since their release.

LYCRA® used for elastic thread

New-HALE® uses polyurethane elastic fiber Lycra® fiber. By covering the Lycra® fiber used as the core with cotton, New-HALE® has high elasticity, elastic recovery, and retention, while the part that touches the skin has the soft texture of cotton. By fully utilizing the performance of this excellent material, it has excellent elasticity that matches the movement of the skin and muscles, and is gentle on the skin.

By applying soft, elastic taping, the skin loosens, and as the skin loosens, the muscles and fascia also loosen, helping to return the range of motion to normal.
