MCS (Muscle Containment Stamping) is an innovative fabric support system that targets key muscle, tendon and fascial groups to support key muscles against fatigue and strain during intense activity.

MCS "stamping" supports performance by wrapping precise areas of the limbs and providing greater compression to reduce muscle vibration and damage. Advanced engineering provides greater compression power without adding weight or bulk to the garment.
The stampings are layers in themselves, placed on the lining of the garment (the inside-out side of the fabric) exactly where they are needed to support muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascial groups.

Graduated compression tights exert maximum pressure at the ankles and the level of pressure gradually decreases towards the top of the garment. This pressure gradient forces blood to flow upwards towards the heart, rather than downwards towards the feet or laterally through superficial veins. Proper graduated compression reduces the diameter of major veins, increasing the speed and volume of blood flow.

2XU MCS compression tights are made from PWX105D fabric, which is made up of 65% nylon and 35% elastane (InvistaLYCRA®, a polyurethane elastic fiber). The maximum amount of pressure that can be applied is 23-26*mmHg, which is the highest of all compression fabrics that 2XU has.
