A lightweight and resilient model for training and racing
The FuelCell Rebel, which is based on the concept of lightweight and resilience to support high-speed running, has been updated to V4. The midsole uses FuelCell with Pebax, which is lighter and has improved resilience. In addition, the fit of the forefoot has been improved, and the shape is designed to give a more rolling feel and allow the foot to slip through. The FANTOMFIT upper structure provides a more stress-free fit and comfortably supports high-speed running.
upper
The engineered mesh is woven based on the Data to Design concept, which takes into account the degree of stretch during running. Compared to the previous model, v3, the feeling of tightness in the forefoot has been eliminated, and the FAMTOM FIT structure provides a secure fit and stress-free comfort.
Midsole
Compared to the previous model, it uses a FuelCell compound containing PEBA, which has greater resilience.
From the midfoot to the forefoot, the design is more conscious of the rolling sensation and ease of slipping through the foot. In addition to being lighter, the shoe also has improved resilience, making it ideal for high-speed running.
Outsole
Solid rubber is used in the forefoot and N durance is used in the heel. Data to Design is designed with consideration for the release of the foot from the midfoot to the forefoot and the resilience when bending. The new rubber arrangement and non-slip design assist in stability and resilience at any speed.
Review by Shoe Advisor Takehisa Fujiwara
Takehisa Fujiwara, a familiar shoe advisor on the Runtrip Channel, gave high praise for the shoes, saying, "I think you can use them to suit your needs, whether you're increasing your tempo, racing, or running long distances, and although I wouldn't say they're specifically for jogging, I think you can use them for jogging as well. This model is at the heart of New Balance's racing shoe line."
