Design Story

The fabric of this T-shirt is something I came across and fell in love with at the Nikko Mountain Running event held in Nikko, Tochigi Prefecture two years ago.

It's soft and comfortable to wear, yet quick-drying, making it suitable for training and racing.
I wanted to somehow make an original T-shirt out of this fabric. I wanted everyone in the Myakon Club to wear one too! With that in mind, I asked the Runtrip team to help me with the production.
Please come and experience the texture of the fabric that I fell in love with.

We asked DLOP., who also designed the Run & Beer Tee, to design this tee. The theme is "Enjoying the aid stations and getting more and more excited about running."

The product name "URM" is an abbreviation of "Ultra Runner Myako."
Please also take a look at the blurred text! Another key point is that the design allows the illustrations to be visible even when the backpack is on your back, such as while trail running or running around town.

The orange color of the back print is also eye-catching. The combination of grey and orange was designed to be worn by both men and women. The vibrant orange alone is flashy and energetic, but by combining it with a calm grey, it gives off a stylish impression.

It can be used as practice wear, race wear, as a cool-down garment, or as travel wear...the uses are unlimited!

Myako, who is 160cm tall, wears a size S, which is a little long and loose, so she can wear it loosely or tightly...
Try combining it with various outfits! We hope your running life becomes more enjoyable!

Comfortable to wear

"Made in TOCHIGI" is printed and sewn at a factory in Ashikaga, Tochigi Prefecture, in keeping with the Nikko Mountain Running secretariat's desire to liven up Tochigi Prefecture.

Ashikaga City is a region that flourished as a textile industry area after the war, and the skilled craftsmanship is still deeply rooted here today, with many domestically and internationally famous fashion brands producing their products here.

The special cross-sectional structure has excellent moisture absorption and release properties, and from the moment it touches your skin, it keeps you cool and comfortable. The gentle stretch makes it easy to move around, and the collar is designed to keep its shape.
