What is Merino Wool

The material is the wool obtained from Merino sheep raised in Australia and New Zealand. Compared to other wools, this wool has very fine fibres and excellent heat retention, making it considered the finest wool.

Wool gloves tend to be thick, which means they don't fit well and can be difficult to use your fingers in. Gloves made from thin merino wool solve this problem.

Feels good on the skin

The most important thing about gloves, which come into direct contact with the hands, is that they feel good against the skin. Most wool materials have thick fibers, which can be itchy when they come into contact with the skin. Merino wool has finer fibers than conventional wool materials, so it feels much better against the skin and doesn't feel itchy.
The merino wool material is soft and comfortable to wear. It retains its shape well, so you can use it for a long time.

High heat retention

Merino wool is one of the best wool fibers, and the filaments in the fiber are so thin that they trap heat. It has better heat retention than regular wool, and even though it is thin, it keeps your hands warm.

Good ventilation

It has the effect of releasing moisture moderately, and conversely, it is highly effective at repelling water from the outside, so it is a material with excellent moisture absorption. Hands tend to sweat easily and heat tends to build up, but merino wool absorbs sweat and moisture and evaporates it, so you don't feel hot and uncomfortable due to sweat.
It quickly absorbs and diffuses moisture, so even if you get wet with sweat, you won't feel wet, making it extremely effective for use in rainy conditions.

W-Watch Window

Both wrists feature double-knit watch windows that are not visible directly against the skin.
It is designed to show the display of a running watch, so you don't have to turn it over every time. The hole for the watch face is highly elastic, so it will fit even if the watch is a little large.
It has watch windows on both sides, so it can be worn on either the right or left hand.

Smartphone compatible

Special materials are used on the tips of the thumb, index finger, and middle finger, allowing you to operate a smartphone or touch panel while wearing the gloves. You can easily type on your smartphone without having to take off your gloves.

* The home button on the iPhone SE and other devices may be unresponsive.

*If your fingers are dry, the reaction may be poor. In that case, try wetting your fingertips with water or applying hand cream before use.

USE SCENE

  • Running/Walking

Running and walking are times when you use your hands a lot, such as holding a bottle or timing yourself. Merino wool has finer fibers than conventional wool materials, so it feels good on the skin and makes it easy to grasp and touch things. Even if the gloves get wet from a paper cup when absorbing water, you won't feel wet, which is a great point for runners.
It also has excellent heat retention and good breathability, making it comfortable to wear for long periods of time.

  • Trail running and mountain climbing

Trails and mountain climbing are times when you need to hold sticks for long periods of time. Merino wool gloves are ideal because they are soft to the touch, have good heat retention and are breathable, so your hands won't get tired or get blisters. They can also be used as an auxiliary tool to reduce damage to your hands if you suddenly fall, as you will be walking through a variety of places, not just rivers and rock faces, but also mud, twigs, and fallen leaves.
In addition, there are surprisingly many situations when using your hands when climbing, and since you are likely to get dirty as you walk through various places, gloves made of merino wool are ideal as they help prevent dirt.

  • Business and daily use

Merino wool gloves are ideal for both business and everyday use as they provide warmth, breathability, and allow you to operate your smartphone.
