Column | Running and beer
"Why do you run?"
For those who don't run on a daily basis, when they see people choosing to "run" in this heat, the first thing that comes to mind is probably this: There must be a rational reason for why they "have to run" that only they understand.
Unfortunately, the answer is both YES and NO. Naturally, people have different reasons for running. Having a goal, wanting to lose weight, wanting to be healthy. All of these are legitimate reasons, and they can be proudly labeled as "reason for running." Having said that, there is a fact I want to convey. Whatever your reason for running, "you will never regret running."
And "beer after running tastes amazing"
That is what it means.
There doesn't have to be any big reason. Just take a deep breath of fresh air, fill your lungs, and run, blowing away all the worries. At the end of the journey, there will be a small sense of accomplishment and the most delicious beer in the world. That's all that matters. So today, too, I'm kicking out of the ground under the blue sky.
